What is iCloud Activation Lock?

Activation Lock is Apple's anti-theft system. When "Find My iPhone" is enabled, the phone becomes tied to your Apple ID. Even after a factory reset, the phone will ask for your Apple ID and password before it can be activated. Without your credentials, the phone can't be used.

Step-by-Step: Remove iCloud Lock (Takes 2 Minutes)

Method 1: Sign Out on the Phone (Easiest)

1. Open Settings on the iPhone
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Scroll down and tap Sign Out
4. Enter your Apple ID password when prompted
5. Choose whether to keep a copy of data on the device
