An unlocked iPhone 15 is worth $25–$35 more than one locked to AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile. If your phone is paid off, you can usually unlock it for free by calling your carrier — worth the 10-minute hold time.
Check yours: Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock. If it says "No SIM restrictions," you're already unlocked.
We check battery health at inspection. 85%+ is standard good condition. Below 80% we'll note but it usually doesn't change the offer much on a 15 — the battery is easier to service than on older models.
